hklang was a good girl for far too long. Now she roams the shadowlands with Carl Jung in one pocket and a keyboard in the other, hunting the wild things that live beneath polite conversation and turning them into poems and poetry films.. Her illustrated memoir 'Rhapsody' documents a year of love, death, madness, lust, and the strange and wonderful new life that follows total loss of everything you thought you were.

 

Based in Bristol, hklang is done with poetry that’s nice. She wants mess, humour and hauntings — to celebrate the ridiculous and sublime reality of being human.
